This partnership blends technology with personal style, starting with new versions of the VAPPEBY portable Bluetooth speaker. These speakers have been reimagined with bold patterns and vivid colors, signaling the start of a fresh approach to how electronics fit into our homes.

VAPPEBY Now in Black, Pink, and Blue
The new editions of the VAPPEBY speaker are available in black, pink, and blue, with playful pattern updates that reflect Teklan's color-driven philosophy. Designed for both function and fun, VAPPEBY is waterproof, compact, and can be paired with another speaker for full stereo sound.

IKEA describes it best:
"Bring your favorite music everywhere – out in the garden, to the beach, or into the bathroom. The VAPPEBY portable speaker is waterproof and packs big sound in a small size. Pair two for stereo audio."
With up to 80 hours of battery life, this speaker is built for both daily use and spontaneous adventures.

A Colorful Vision for Home Electronics
Teklan's design philosophy centers around the emotional power of color. She believes home electronics should not be hidden but embraced as part of our interiors. By combining color, form, and pattern, this collaboration encourages a new way of living with technology.
"Color has the power to shift our perspective and encourage us to see everyday objects in new ways," says Teklan. "By treating electronics as part of the home's identity, we can create environments where color and function live side by side."

Full Collection Launching in 2026
The full IKEA x Teklan collection will launch in early 2026, offering a broader range of products that continue to explore color and design in home electronics. Until then, the new VAPPEBY speaker editions offer a preview of what is to come.
Merging Technology and Home Aesthetics
Sara Ottosson, Product Developer at IKEA, explains the deeper goal of the project. "Home electronics are often seen as purely functional. With this collaboration, we explore how color and design can bring home furnishing and electronics closer together, creating pieces that people are proud to display."
This partnership redefines the role of electronics in home environments, turning them into bold, beautiful, and personal objects.
