Hello, and welcome.

My name is Mauritz, and I'm the founder of Mauritz Interior & Design. I'm Swedish, which means I naturally have a deep connection to IKEA, something most Swedes share.

In recent years, I have built and run interiorbutikker.no, one of Norway's largest interior design websites. Now I'm setting my sights on a global audience. With so much IKEA-related content and a passion for interiors, I created Mauritz Interior & Design to share inspiration from both IKEA and other design-focused brands I discover on my travels.

At Mauritz Interior & Design, I bridge the gap between brand-perfect catalogs and real-world shopping experiences. While furniture brands showcase polished studio shots and influencers share only what they've bought for their own homes, I take you inside the stores, capturing detailed, authentic photos of furniture and home products as they truly appear on the showroom floor.

I don't just review what I own. I explore, document, and create original content directly from furniture stores across different brands, offering you an insider's look at designs, materials, and options before you make a purchase. This unique approach lets you see beyond polished ads and curated homes — it's the honest, real-life view that helps you make smarter design choices.

You can find videos on Pinterest and Instagram, and each article includes a rich gallery of images to spark your creativity.
