Hello, and welcome.
My name is Mauritz, and I'm the founder of Mauritz Interior & Design. I'm Swedish, which means I naturally have a deep connection to IKEA, something most Swedes share. During my university studies in business administration, I even used IKEA as a case study, which deepened my interest in design and branding.
In recent years, I have built and run interiorbutikker.no, one of Norway's largest interior design websites. Now I'm setting my sights on a global audience. With so much IKEA-related content and a passion for interiors, I created Mauritz Interior & Design to share inspiration from both IKEA and other design-focused brands I discover on my travels.
I frequently visit furniture and kitchen stores and always look for new ideas and color combinations. Here you will find content covering everything from IKEA kitchens, bedrooms, laundry rooms, children's rooms, and seasonal items, to cutlery and decor. I also feature paint colors from leading brands such as Farrow & Ball, Sherwin-Williams, and Benjamin Moore, because color is key to creating atmosphere.
